The following services are included:

Bed linen, bath and kitchen towels, final cleaning, garbage bags, accommodation taxes, Bernticket (free use of public transport in the city of Bern), taxis, commission, and parking.

1. Entry into force

This agreement shall only enter into force upon receipt of the agreed payment by the landlord. If payment is not received by the landlord by the agreed date, the landlord has the right to rent the property to another tenant without further notice and without liability for compensation.

2. Cancellation

Free cancellation is possible up to 14 days prior to arrival.

In the event of early departure or late arrival, the tenant remains obligated to pay the full rent. The landlord recommends taking out cancellation insurance.

3. Pets

Pets are only allowed after consultation with the landlord. A fee of CHF 10 per pet per night will be charged.

 4. Handover

The rental property is available from 4:00 PM on the day of arrival or by arrangement and must be vacated by 10:00 AM on the day of departure at the latest. The parking space must also be vacated by 10:00 AM.

The rental property must be handed over to the tenant in a clean, swept condition. Dishes must be left in the designated area in a clean condition.

5. Use

The rental property and furnishings must be used carefully. The tenant is obligated to be considerate towards other residents and neighbors. Missing items and any damage must be reported to the landlord immediately and are at the tenant's expense. Nails are not permitted to be driven into the property. The tenant agrees to follow the landlord's instructions regarding key handover, garbage collection, etc.

If there are any defects or incomplete inventory upon handover, the tenant must report this; otherwise, the rental property is deemed to have been handed over in perfect condition. The tenant will receive an invoice for repairs and replacements, or their credit card will be charged.
